Alongside our listed equity fund, we engage in two related activities described below, on a relationship basis with selected counterparties.
Advisory to peer funds.
From time to time, we provide advisory input to overseas funds whose work brings them into the Japanese market. This happens on a relationship basis, when a peer reaches out with a specific Japan-related question that our local depth can help with. It is not a business line we promote.
Venture capital.
We also operate a domestic venture capital business focused on Japanese later-growth-stage startups. This vehicle is structured for the Japanese market and is not currently marketed to overseas investors.
